Scholarship Opportunity:

Are you struggling to launch or improve your free clinic?
Are you dreaming of joining like-minded students in sunny Anaheim this February?
Are you in need of funds to travel?

Consider applying to the ECG Travel Grant Program!

Due to a generous grant from the Atran Foundation, the East Harlem Health Outreach Program (EHHOP) has started a new branch of Mount Sinai’s student-run free clinic called the EHHOP Consulting Group (ECG). ECG serves to help other medical schools jumpstart their student-run clinics through scholarship, consulting, and advocacy work. Part of the ECG mission is to provide leaders of new and upcoming student clinics with scholarships to attend the annual Society for Student-Run Free Clinic Conference.

The grant amount is $850 per student and will cover the cost of travel, hotel, food and registration. The application closes November 30, 2016.
