Key Note Speaker

Mario Cruz, MD is a pediatrician leader, a community advocate, and a skilled problem-solver with 20 years of experience serving marginalized communities. Dr Cruz serves as the Medical Director for Pediatrics at Jefferson Einstein Medical Center and was the founding medical director for Pediatrics at Philadelphia FIGHT, a Federally Qualified Health Center.
 
Dr. Cruz is a gifted educator and mentor who has been recognized with numerous teaching awards. His research and advocacy work has focused on practical solutions to improve screening for social determinants of health in primary care settings. Dr Cruz‘s advocacy career began at Albany Medical College as a medical student, where he learned about the importance of free medical care from inspiring faculty members.
